addVintage is the latest, and possibly the largest, retail store of its kind in south-east Queensland that specialises in retro, Danish and Eames-era furniture and furnishings. The 450 square metre showroom offers a vast range of sideboards and buffets, dining suites, lounge suites, wall units, coffee tables, floor lamps, art glass vases, dinnerware, cow-hide rugs and other household items commonly found in the Modernist era between 1947-1974 in Australia and overseas.
addVintage carries a balance of local and imported items, mainly from northern Europe, to cater for every budget and differing taste. Now that retro items and recycling for the environment are much in style, it only makes sense to check out the store's wares before making that final decision to redecorate your home.
The minimalist design and functionality of each piece offered at addVintage will help you to personalise your own space. These items have stood the test of time (most are more than 40 years old and possibly made or owned by your Granddad!) so they are blessed with exceptional workmanship and quality and will certainly last longer than most of the newer imported stock in other furniture chains. addVintage sells many individual pieces on eBay, as well as locally from its Woollongabba showroom and its shop stalls at the New Farm and Paddington Antique Centres.
