*Wheel balancers come with a standard set of mounting cones which allow the operator to mount wheels that have a "true center". (This is the majority of wheels), But if your business is geared toward the high performance market, then the Universal adapter is the perfect option for your wheel balancer. Universal Adapter is designed for balancer those custom wheels that require a special mounting procedure, and wheels that have either a closed center or wheels that are made "without a true center" and classified as lug-centric. (this Universal adapter will fit on to 36 mm splindle)
*The Universal adapter works on 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10-lug wheels. The pivoting arms can be removed and re-positioned to match any of these bolt patterns. To mount a 6-lug wheel, you would use the 3-lug configuration, because the lugs will be evenly spaced. To mount an 8-lug wheel, use the 4-lug pattern.
