VELOCETTE VENOM 500

Good running Venom. Has been stored for about 3 years since being done up. Reco speedo, new paint on tank. Engine has been fitted with /7 cam for better mid range performance at the expense of a small amount of top end power. Can fit standard  /8 cam if requested by successfull bidder. Otherwise bike is fairly original. Good chrome on guards but rear stays need rechroming. Wheel rim chrome a bit dull but apparently thats the way they left the factory. Has been fitted with bolt up primary chain cases as the original band type leak excessively. Rear tyre has a slow leak I havent got round to fixing yet.

Its getting harder to find these in good condition these days. Quite a lot of them have been upgraded to Clubmans models with $20 k + prices or hoarded in collectors sheds. We've all seen what has happened when you stick your money in superannuation. If you buy this at least you will have something tangible that can be ridden and enjoyed.

The bike is located in Lara near Geelong. Its available for inspection by appointment. I have a bike trailer and can transport to Melbourne for cost of fuel. Also happy to make arrangements for Interstate transport or getting it crated and sent overseas. I prefer payment by cash but direct bank transfer or bankers draft OK for long distance buyers. $500 deposit by Paypal required within 24 hrs of auction ending.
