THIS MINIATURE IS PORCELAIN MADE IT HAS NO MAKERS MARK OR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN STAMP.  HOWEVER I AM CERTAIN IT IS GERMAN??? 

*****I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO AT A COLLECTORS MARKET & THOUGHT IT WAS SO CUTE & SO DECIDED TO TRY AND COLLECT OTHERS BUT HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANOTHER LET ALONE ANY SIMILAR TO THIS ONE SINCE I HAVE ONLY SEEN THE LARGER PROPER PIANO BABIES IN ANTIQUE SHOPS.*****

PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU ARE UNSURE AND IF YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!!

THIS GORGEOUS FIGURINE IS APPROX 8cm LONG X 6cm HIGH.  THE COLOUR OF THE SKIN AND HAIR ARE VERY CLOSE TO THE PHOTO.

I HAVE JUST THOUGHT I HAD BETTER ADD THAT HIS BODY AND FACE ARE LEFT AS BISQUE AND HIS HAIR IS VERY VERY LIGHTLY GLAZED, I DON'T KNOW IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE BUT THERE YOU HAVE HIS DESCRIPTION.

IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LOOKED AFTER FOR MANY YEARS THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR CRACKS THERE ARE A COUPLE OF TINY PINHEAD SIZE SPOTS WHERE THE PAINT HAS WORN AWAY. THE UNDERSIDE IS A LITTLE WORN ALSO.

DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS DELIGHTFUL BABY.
