VINTAGE 1950'S COWBOY WORK GLOVES
NWT SZ SMALL




.These wonderful 1950's gloves were made by 'Riegel' Wagon brand gloves and are new old shop stock and have never been worn! Designed for boy's as work gloves, but way too cute for just working in!
Featuring a flared, gauntlet styled cuff in black textured plastic - that features a silver coloured illustration of a cowboy on a bucking bronco.The inside of the cuff has a fabric texture, so the rubber/plastic outer may have been bonded to a base fabric. The cuff is edged in red blanket stitching, and inserted inside the outer seam- is light olive green suede leather fringing!. The hand section of the gloves is in thick knitted dark grey cotton, with the top section stitched with 5 seams for a perfect fit,and maximum movement, and the under side is plain.. fabulous just as collectable, or for costume and dress ups too!
MEASUREMENTS size: Not stated. But they measure as a 6-1/2 but with much shorter fingers as they are not adult size.
wrist: 7 (17.8cm)
hem width: 9-1/2 (24.2cm)
width across hand: 6-1/2 (16.3cm)expands to 7-1/2 (19cm)
tip of index finger to hem: 8-3/4 (22.3cm)
index finger length: 2-5/8 (6.7cm) 
CONDITION Very good for their age, with just some light dust from years of storage, and some minor uneven colouring on the grey knit fabric, I am not sure if this is from light exposure, or how they were originally sold.
