VINTAGE 1950'S SCARF SILK RAYON CHIMNEY SWEEP PRINT NWOT

This absolutely beautiful late 50's/early 60's neck scarf or ocket handkerchief is new old store stock and has never been worn! Made by 'Telsada', in pure silk and rayon , with blue hand rolled edges. The scarf has a striking print of tiny chimney sweeps, climbing the roofs and chimneys with their brushes and soot bags .The colours in the print are black, with metallic gold and blue and white.The background colour of the border is a pale powder blue with the hand rolled edge in mid blue. The inside border a black and white print suggesting chimney brushes, and the outer border has a black and white design. The fabric has the weight and appearance of a soft jap silk.
The perfect finishing touch for a favorite vintage dress, or a wonderful gift!

MEASUREMENTS
size: 17 by 16-1/2 (43 cm by 42cm ) with some minor variation in size betwen the number of these treasures I have up for grabs!
