VINTAGE 1970's JACKET & PANTS PATTERN

This wonderful early 1970's pattern by 'Simplicity'-style 5955 is dated 1973, and is for a fabulous misses' fitted jacket and pants outift.
The back states:" misses' Fitted jacket and Pants: The lined jacket View 1 and 2 with front button closing has shawl collar,long set in button trimmed sleeves and flap pockets. View 2 has contrasting collar and flaps. The pants with front zipper have waistband".
The pattern has fantastic 70's styling, with flared waisted pants,and the classic close fitting jacket shape.
All up there are 14 pattern pieces* The pattern pieces are on easy to follow printed tissue.
Suggested fabrics were Wool flannel,tweed,gaberdine,chino,poplin,pique,denim,linen,silk,brushed denim,pinwale coruroy,ribless corduroy,velvet,velveteen. View 1 jacket also in lightweight wool,herringbone,double knit. View 2 contrasting collar also in satin.
MEASUREMENTS: Vintage AU size 12 , Modern size approx: AU 10-12, USA 2-4, UK 8-10
Designed to fit-Bust 34"(86.4cm) waist: 26-1/2 (67.3cm) hip 36" (91.5cm).
Finished back length of jacket:25"(63.5)
Finished side length of pants:42-1/4" (107.3cm)
Finished hem width of pants: 27-3/4" (70.5cm)

CONDITION: Pattern is VERY GOOD,instructions and cutting sheet are intact, packet has creasing and scuffing to corners, and some wear on front of packet.
