Sophisticated, vintage, jacket has the original Klein Furs label. Gorgeous jacket is made of a woven, grosgrain ribbon fabric which has a soft mat finish not a cheap shinny finish. The jacket is cream with an exquisite mauve embroidered lining. Notice the front and sides have a graceful rounded edge. One hook and eye closure at the neck. Three quarter length sleeve with 4 1/2" genuine Mink cuff. Jacket has hand stitching however, I am not sure if the ribbon fabric is hand stitched, looks like a chain stitch on the ribbon and I believe it might be however, you be the judge, I have given you a magnified closeup to help with your decision as to whether the ribbon fabric itself is hand stitched (notice last photo.) This piece was purchased at an upscale estate and had been carefully stored in a box with tissue, inside the box there was a hand written note that said "Ribbon Artistry". Our mannequin is size 8 and I think you could go up possibly to a size 10 and of course down several sizes however to be sure take your own personal measurements. Following are the approx. measurements, laying flap, back shoulder seam to shoulder seam 15" across, underarm maxes at 20" so it would be a 38". Length from top center shoulder to bottom approx. 20 3/4". Has been well cared for and I see no damage. A couple notches above the average. Classic wrap is an investment piece, it will never go out of style and is the type wrap every woman needs in her wardrobe, weddings, opera, cocktail parties or any formal occasion and is small enough to travel well. Seldom does one have the opportunity to own such a lovely vintage wrap. EXCEPTIONALLY FINE VINTAGE CONDITION.
