VINTAGE 60's LEATHER MINK FUR TRIM LONG TRENCH COAT

I absolutely love, love, love this coat and I don't really want to sell it because it is so rare and gorgeous but, I don't ever wear it and I could use the money elsewhere.

This is an investment piece that will last you a life-time.

I bought this jacket about 8 years ago from a vintage shop and paid over $1500 for it. It was missing the belt when I bought it so I had a leather belt custom made to match and this cost me $250.

DESCRIPTION

Label: Styled by Stewart Hunt Sydney  (Roetan Leather - by Silvester Litton of England)

Size: labelled 12 but it would fit a modern size 8-10 (USA size = 2- 4)

Length of coat: mid-lower calf

Material:  100% leather outer, mink fur trim and with satin lining

Colour: Medium brown leather, tan coloured fur and bronze coloured lining

Condition:  It is in very good VINTAGE condition. The leather has only one noticeable mark (see photos') and this is on the shoulder under the mink collar so you can't see it at all when wearing the coat. There are other very very minor marks that are consistent with leather and are not noticeable marks when coat is in use and do not show up on photo's as they are so small and minor.

It is missing the belt loops - the vintage shop or past owner had unpicked them as the belt was missing (see photo's). I found one in the pocket, but the other is missing. I have not re-attached but will leave it in the pocket for the winning bidder. As the belt loops have been unpicked there are little pin-prick holes on the side of the coat (see photo's) that are honestly not that noticeable but are covered with the new belt anyway (I bought the jacket not even realising that it was missing belt loops and that there were the tiny holes from where the loops use to be). The reason I did not realise that the coat use to have a belt is that there is a press stud at the front to hold the coat in a crossed over closed position.

The satin lining does have small mark/stain as per the photo which I have not even bothered to try and clean as it never gets seen.

POSTAGE: The postage is expensive due to the weight of the coat and the size of the parcel. The coat weights approx 1.9kg when wrapped and in a postage bag.

All postage costs include Registered Mail for both Australian and International bidders. I will not send this item via regular mail as items too often get lost.

I am happy to offer PICK UP - I LIVE IN THE SUTHERLAND SHIRE IN SYDNEY and will be available Monday - Friday during the hours 9am to 3pm only for pick up.

• I post on a FRIDAY (on the majority of occasions), so in general handling time is 3-7 days dependant on when you pay.

• I am also not responsible for transit time, transit times may vary, particularly during peak times, weekend and public holidays.
