VINTAGE BABE RUTH CARDBOARD SIGN POSTER OLD GOLD 1928

Up for auction here is this old poster/sign of the great babe ruth promoting old gold cigarettes.  I guess back then, smoking was only done by the rich and famous.

This old poster measures 9¾” tall x 13¾” wide, and is a thick cardboard stock.  I am assuming this was a store display because there are two very small holes at the top (one at each corner), so this is where they probably were supposed to string it up.  However, there are no markings of string or anything being in these holes.

This poster is in very good condition, with no creases, wrinkles, or tears.  There is some color rubbings, which you can see in my pictures.  I will ship this flat inside heavier cardboard, so that it will not get bent or folded in shipping.

This would make a fantastic addition to any babe ruth, yankees, old baseball, or old cigarette collection!  Remember, Christmas is just around the corner.
