VINTAGE BIRKS STERLING 5 PIECE DRESSER SET MONO “MacL”

This lovely old Birks Sterling dresser set is beautifully hand engraved on a machine engraved background.  Each piece has a clear hand engraved monogram “MacL”.  Each piece is stamped “BIRKS STERLING”.  Each piece shows light scratching and expected wear from age and use.

This set consists of:

·                    A handled hair brush, 10” long, with a dent to the top (please see photos) and a tiny dent or ding to the end of the handle.  The bristles are clean and intact.

A clothes brush, 6 ½” X 2”, in very good condition with clean and intact bristles.  A tiny ding to one end.

·                    A standard 8” comb holder, with no comb (easily replaceable).  No dings or dents.

·                    A shoe horn, 8” in length.  The silver handle is in excellent condition.  The blade, marked “STAINLESS”, has a tiny wow from use.

·                    An 8 ½” nail file.  The silver handle is in very good condition, with a  tiny deeper scratch to the back.  The file is dark but sharp, with a tiny wow to the end.

The silver value in this dresser set is more than our listing price, taking no consideration of its beauty, craftsmanship and usefulness.
