Vintage, rare-as fur collared New-Look Coat!
Sized 42
Up for auction is this truly spectacular-OZ coat...made right here in OZ - Made of fabulous, heavy tweed wool, it is vintage WOW! and WARM-AS! ...and very heavy too!
This is another big, bold and delicious vintage treasure from the divinesecrets gals – Aunty Pearl was down to her last million when this bespoke coat was made for her.
Taken with the garment lying flat the measurements are: The length of the coat taken from the back of the collar to the hem = 42 1/2" or 108 cm
Length of arm from underarm seam to cuff = 39 cm The coat has an rounded A-line cut (sooo IN in the 70’s) with 2 front patch pockets on front panels.
Magyar sleeves – so 50-60’s!
There is a front closure with three huge buttons. There is also a loop for a much smaller button that secures the collar.
The coat is lined in a deep chocolate satin and has piping that edges the satin and wool…….beautiful! Totally Oz; totally RARE and totally - divine!
