VINTAGE BEDSPREAD
 
GORGEOUS HAND CROCHETED WOOL PATCHWORK
BEDSPREAD WITH FRINGE
 
This is a fabulous blanket / bedspread / throw (nanna rug) in the ever popular granny squares in various gorgeous shades of pink wool with the lighter pink in mohair, edged in black then joined together and fringed in black wool on three sides.
Crocheted in 8 ply wool.
 
I have many of these blankets in my collection and due to my downsizing house and changing my decor some of them have made their way to my eBay store.
I am lising others too so check them out.
 
MEASUREMENTS
LENGTH INCLUDING FRINGE 3.97m
WIDTH INCLUDING FRINGE 2.77m
 
MEASURED RELAXED ON A BED AS YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE.
 
Big enough to fit a Queen and King Size bed or as a cover for a large couch.
 
CONDITION
This gorgeous bedspread is basically sound.
There are no moth holes in the wool and none of the crocheting is coming undone.
Some of the stitching that joins the squares has come undone (I imagine in the wash) and some of the squares need to be re-joined to the square next to it. This can be easily done using a slip stitch with some black wool and a large needle. If you are a knitter or know a knitter you will know what I mean.
I am too busy to do this so I am leaving it for the buyer to do.
I have included lots of photos for you to see where it is needed and also to see that there is
no damage in the actual rug per se.
