This auction is for one very pretty VINTAGE - EMBROIDERED LARGE OVAL DOILY featuring a DECO LOOK FLOWERS design.

The cloth colour is white.

It's in very good to excellent vintage condition - very clean and no holes. The overall condition is terrific, considering this is an oldie.

I believe the fabric is linen, but cannot be certain, it may be cotton.

 The doily has a crochet lace border edge hand worked in white cotton thread.

I do not know the age of this doily, but it is definitely an older style. 

Very, pretty!

The doily measures 33cm high x 47cm wide (including the crochet lace edging).

The flowers design is worked in shades of orange, red, blue and gold with light green coloured leaves and stems. 

If you collect vintage embroidered doilies, you might like this one. It's looking for a new home.
