Vintage Bakelite Advertising Ashtray with raised centre section having the wording RADIOTRON AUSTRALIAN MADE & a LOGO with the letters A W V in the middle of the LOGO. I believe the Letters stand for AMALGAMATED WIRELESS VALVE Co Pty Ltd.

I can't find any cracks or chips on the Green Base section. The Black top section has a partial crack in one of the indents where a cigarette would rest. The crack runs from the inner rim to halfway along the indented section. Hard to notice unless looking closely. There is also a slightly raised scratch or burn mark on the surface. Have tried to give a clear view in close up Pic of condition, Advertising Logo & wording. Black Bakelite top section lifts off the Green Bakelite base to enable emptying of the Ashtray.

Measures approx 5 1/4 inches across x 1 1/2 inches high including Black top section. [ 13.4cm x 3.8cm ] I believe this to be quite a rare Advertising Ashtray & would be a great addition to any Vintage Advertising or Vintage Bakelite Valve Radio Collection. Thank you very much for looking.
