ITEM

This auction is for a beautiful vintage, Hall Table and Mirror, shabby chic in every way, (or French Provincial) solid wood construction with the most amazing detail, in cream the set has 36 Fragonard signed Limoges tiles, all surrounded with metal gold leaf decoration, the entire setting has them all over, there are 24 tiles around the Mirror and 12 tiles around the sides of the Table.

The Table Top is solid Marble in a very light grey/cream colour, its also extremely heavy.

The Mirror as shown in the photo's below is adorned with gold leaf covered metal trimming, I have close-ups to show you the detail below.

The Hall Table, has equally the same detail and matching design, it stands on 4 lovely metal feet that are designed like leaves (picture below)

I have never seen another like this, it is the most beautiful item I have had the pleasure in owning for some time

NOTE

NO other items are in this auction ONLY the Mirror and Hall Table, other items in photo's are used for DISPLAY ONLY

If you want to organise a courier for this item, there will be a $20 packing fee for this item, bubble wrap, foam, box's, etc.....

CONDITION

This is quite an old item, so there are going to be a few things here and there, there is some paint starting to flake around the mirror and needs fixing up, gold is possibly not as bright as it once was, NO damage to Marble, NO damage to Mirror, one or two tiny splits in the wood on table (very minor though and not all the way through could very well just be the top paint) the paint is quite thick coated, there is a crack on the wooden back cover of the mirror, this is NOT the mirror it is only the wooden back cover, seen in photo below.

Please  remember that this is an old item, I dont know who owned it, if they smoked or if they changed anything with the item, I only list EVERYTHING I see that LOOKS to be WRONG with vintage items, If you want to know MORE about this item PLEASE email me, I am only to happy to answer any questions. Mirror

Total lenght of 87 cms (34.1/4in) total lenght of wooden frame is 75 cms (29.1/2in) total width is 53 cms (20.3/4in)

Total Mirror ONLY lenght is 58.5 cms (23in) and total Mirror ONLY width of 35 cms (13.3/4in) the wooden frame is approx 2.5 cms in thickness.

Each of the Limoges tiles is 2.5 cms in diameter and with each of the surrounding metal trims is 4 cms in total diameter.

The Table

In total height is 76 cms, it is in total 89 cms in lenght (34.1/2in)

The 4 metal feet are 8 cms in height (3.1/4in) and the Marble is approx 2 cms in thickness, the panel at the front of the table is 7.5 cms wide, there are 10 tiles on this section and 2 on either side of the table.

 

Please note that camera flash and glare is noticable on most photo's due to high gloss finishes and sun

Due to te changes on Ebay, I have no other option but to charge a small fee for packing, this will be added to the postage charge.  The charge will be 50c - $2 for the very large items, I use brand new bubble wrap and where possible foam chips, I have ran at a loss this year as when I list an item I now have the added fee's of Paypal.

I am very sorry for this but when I list an item my fee's are; the item cost, listing fee's, final fee's and Paypal fee's, then there's the mountains of bubble wrap, tape etc etc, if at all possible could paypal be used for items won OVER $10.  Cheers Robyn.
