Here is a lovely vintage letter opener.  It has an unusual integral tape measure located at the top of the handle.  The letter opener is stamped, "Stainless Steel".  It has a leather sheath which states, "Real Hide Made In England".  The leather side of the handle states, "J.W. Rae South Shields Tel.562189".  It measures 7 1/2" long.  It is showing some signs of age related wear, however, still retains its authentic charm.   Please see the photographs for condition.  An ideal original Christmas gift.  Suitable for the authentic touch to design, the collector and the enthusiast.  I have other lots at auction and can reduce postage, when it is possible to combine items, when more than one lot is won within two days.  Thank you.
