VINTAGE MILLINERY HAT BLOCK MOLD STRETCHER

Up for auction is a vintage primitive millinery hat block puzzle" style block that comes apart into 5 pieces (has a thick black rubber band to hold it together). The wood on this block has beautiful patina. This block measures 6 1/4" high, approximately 10 1/4" in diameter across top rim/brim area (31" in circumference), and 4 1/2" high at base by 6 1/2" diameter at the base (21 1/2" in circumference). The blocks are marked 6 3/4 - 7 1/4. Marked with 1955 and Kilian on the side. This block came from a factory that closed down in Oklahoma many years ago. Has some scratches, wood cracks at the grain and a small knick out of one edge as can be seen in the photos. These five piece blocks are extremely rare and hard to find!
