BIDDERS PAYMENT
Direct Debit from Australian banks, personal cheques from Australian banks or money orders from Australia Post and PayPal are payment means for bidders.
If paying by direct debit from your own internet banking (Australian Banks only), which is easy and quick, please do not forget to add a reference. This reference can be your name, your Ebay name, the item, or the item number. This is very important as it enables a match of the payment against the item.
If paying by direct debit, via the Bank (Australian Banks only) and not through your own internet banking, could you please email me with the branch and deposit details as banks do not allow the Ebay information on the deposit, - makes it easier for me to ensure the correct item is posted.
If paying by personal cheque (from Australian Banks only) - item will not be posted until cheque clears.
If paying by Paypal, payment must be in Australian dollars only, goods posted when payment reaches my bank as Australia Post does not accept Paypal, takes upto 5 days to clear from Paypal to the bank.
PICK UP
Pick up is available, as is meeting you, or delivery if convenient to where I am when I go to Adelaide, usually at least once a week.
POSTAGE
Postage is extra and at Australia Post cost and we use recycled packaging when ever we can to save on costs.
We will sent an Ebay account within 36 hours of closure after the piece is packaged and the postage for your postcode has been calculated. We do not give a price for postage on these items when listing as postage differs greatly from state to state and this can be unfair to some buyers if it is a set price. So please wait for this invoice to be emailed, or "request total from seller" if you prefer.
Please remember that larger articles have higher postage costs, especially if packaged carefully and if you have any questions regarding this, please email for a quote prior to bidding.
We are happy to combine items to save on postage, so check out our other items, you may find something else you like.
All items are very carefully packed and every care is taken to ensure items arrive in a safe condition.
POSTAL REGISTRATION
We do however suggest registering the item, especially items over $10, as we are not responsible, or liable for any damage during transit and unfortunately however careful we may be, Australia Post is not.
For Australian bidders postal registration is extra for items posted to Australia and the basic rate includes up to $100 insurance for loss, or damage and apparently Australia Post takes better care of registered items. For items over $100 the cost is slightly higher. Price is not given as Australia Post increases this amount every six months and it quickly gets out of date, but is charged at current Australia Post charges.
International bidders requiring Registered Mail and Insurance will be quoted separately on closure with mail costs
All unregistered postage is at buyers own risk and is non refundable.
Refunds apply only if an item has been grossly misrepresented.
Please make contact within 3 days, payment is required within 5 days of end of auction, unless prior arrangements have been made. Goods are posted when payment received on that, or the next day.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
Due to a spate of unpaid items recently, the following now applies:
An Ebay invoice will be forwarded within 36 hours of close of bidding to the successful bidder.
If no payment, or correspondence is received within 7 days a a copy invoice will be forwarded.
If after three days no communication, or payment has been received an email will be forwarded asking for a response.
After this and if no communication, or payment has been received another email will be forwarded stating that if no communication, or payment is received within three days, a unpaid bid will be registered with Ebay and negative feedback will be posted.
I apologise to all the lovely people out there that do the right thing and communicate and pay quickly, these conditions are not for them, but for the others who unfortunately do not.
Please remember that I am more than happy to negotiate providing communication is received, preferably prior to bidding on an article.
