VINTAGE PAIR CARAMEL YELLOW CASED MILK GLASS VASES

this is a lovely vintage pair of medium sized vases

they are a caramel yellow (dark yellow) not orange like the images depict

cased glass, yellow over milk white glass

the milk glass has a raised pattern on it of a flower and vines, both sides, and then the yellow glass encases the white glass, but is smooth on the outside, so you can just see the image of the raised flower and vines, its really pretty! especially with the light going through them,

although, I would not leave them sitting on a window sill!!! did that with a red pair, and the backs facing outside faded!!! to almost white

this pair is ever so slightly different in hue

they are in excellent used condition

and stand 17cm tall

and are approx. 9.5cm wide at their widest

good medium sized vases

the pair giving creative floral balance to a dressing table, sideboard or mantle

I have no idea of their history, but am picking them to be possibly 1960s
