VINTAGE COLLECTORS ROTARY DIAL FRENCH PROVINCIAL TELEPHONE

Approx Meas. - Height 22.5cm

Base meas. approx 19cm x 16cm

A stunning vintage telephone that comes to you in good clean condition and has beeen well looked after. Light wear in places on some areas of the brass. Features include the combination of ivory and brass colour, the French style influence and ornate shape. The rotary dial which works smoothly has has that wonderful sound when dialing. The center dial area has an insert if you want to personalise your phone with your phone no. The phone has a very good weight and sits firmly on four rubber circular 'feet'. The fabric covered cream cords are also good quality in the tradition of older style phones ( not plastic ) and a generous length .

The base has labels stating A.P.O. PERMIT No. C69/30/144

The phone is not currently working although I dont think too much could be wrong, I note that the wiring is not all attached see extra photo and this could well be the problem. Starting price reflects that it is not currently working. This fabulous old phone would make a lovely addition to any home, in particular an excellent accessory for the Elegant, Romantic, Paris Apartment or Shabby Chic decor.
