LATE 1950'S EARLY 1960'S

HAND PUPPET

"CHESHIRE CAT"

This lovely childs hand puppet is one of four I have for sale and is a lovely example for the toy collector or Puppeteer. The head and hands have been cast porcelain whilst the body is material. It has no makers marks but was originally bought from Antique Dealers private collection.  It is approx 28cm long (from head to feet) and 28cm wide (from outstretched hand to outstretched hand). It has its original fabric body (which split up one seam - easy to repair) and collar around its neck. I don't know that children can play with it now but I'm sure the adults could still amuse them with it.  A true gem rarely come across these days. I have estimated postage at $15.00 although if you buy any of the other puppets postage can be combined.  Winning bidder please do not pay until invoiced as I will only invoice for ACTUAL POSTAGE COSTS - no profiteering here (see feedback).
