We have on offer a vintage school wall map of early post-war Europe and the Meditteranean. This map dates from 1950 and of particular interest are the occupied zones of both Berlin and Austria.  It also shows the newly created state of Israel.  The map also illustrates the importance of shipping at that time as shipping routes and distances from port to port are shown.  

This map can only be described as in perfect condition with no rips, tears or marks.  It is on a linen backing supported by two hardwood plinths and measures 87cms. high and 100cms, wide.   An interesting  conversation piece of history and would make a delightful wall hanging.  Maps of this age and condition are becoming increasingly more difficult to obtain.
