We have for auction a very interesting map of Palestine showing places from the Old and New Testaments.  This school wall map was probably used for religious instruction classes in primary schools during the 1950s.  It also contains a plan of the then modern Jerusalem showing the Moslem, Christian, Armenian and Jewish quarters of the city.  Of special interest are the illustrations of the ancient caravan routes throughout the land.

The map is in excellent condition with no rips or tears or marks of any kind.  It measures 75cms. wide x 100cms. high, is linen backed and is supported on two hardwood plinths.  A rare look at this ancient land and would make an intriguing wall hanging.   Maps of this age and condition are becoming increasingly more difficult to obtain.
