The SPACE AGE LODGE was located at the south entrance of DISNEYLAND - It was a new concept in "space-ious" comfort - Never before in the history of the motel industry had anyone ever used in their rooms, hand carved, gold trimmed, tufted velvet headboards and gold trimmed double mirrors - Other features included space bubble dividers, direct-dail phones, free TV and Hi-Fi, new styrene lighting, daring new interior colors, along with beautiful appointments in an exciting newer than tomorrow decor - It was acclaimed by thousands as "the finest motel," "the wonder motel," and "the motel of tomorrow" - The aluminum spherical geodesic MOON HOUSE at the pool area was an exact replica of the first building to be sent to the moon - The thermostatically regulated BLUE MOON POOL was a dynamic likeness of  the "Friendship Seven" capsule -  The modern COFFEE SHOP was "Nothing like that on the Moon" and the place to enjoy delicious food - The Lodge's ROCKETMOBILE with Rocket and Space Boy on the top was the way to be shuttled to DISNEYLAND - The  SPACE AGE LODGE  "Out of this World" Brochure is Near Mint Condition - You gotta have it!!!!!!!!!    - See my Auctions for more Vintage Collectibles, Amusement Park, Entertainment, Paper, DVD's and Many Other Items
