VINTAGE SPEAKER BOX

Bell & Howell - Gaumont Model 601

with Goodmans Audiom 50? 15ohm 12" speaker.

The Bell & Howell Speaker Box is from a sound projector speaker box. made @1946.

Dimensions: 43.5cm high x 42cm wide x 27cm deep.

Covered in green tectured vinyl with a rear opening back panel and 4 closing catches. This looks the goods for any vintage musician feel. (I have also seen these stripped back and oiled in the natural wood finish. Both ways these add that special visual addition to any stage gig).

The Goodmans Speaker (i believe this to be an Audiom 50) as the magnet is smaller than an Audiom 60. No labels are evident but this definately has all the hallmarks of a Goodmans. The only identification mark is a faded small red circle with a 3 inside, this is located above the input terminals.

I have tried this in conjunction with a 12" Celestion 1974 Greenback T1221 cone, attached to a Leslie box with excellent results - both have a somewhat similar tone. 

The 12" 15ohm speaker appears to be in fine working condition and I would guess its @ 10-15 watt rating+. Tests at 13.1ohm

Both the Goodmans Speaker and the Speaker box are in an original condition.
