VINTAGE SPORTING LIFE SEPTEMBER 1947 1/- COVER PRICE

Time to go back to the bookcase and I have found another very old magazine, a sporting one this time, in fact I have found 3 so will list them all at some stage.  This one is called Sporting Lifeels and is the September 1947 issue so well over 60 years old but still in reasonable condition for the age. It has 64 pages and on looking through, I find that page 35 has quite a large tear in addition to the small piece missing from the front bottom right hand corner of the cover as shown in the photo.  Apart from this there are no stains and it is still intact with no writing or texta anywhere.  A very interesting old magazine which covers many different sports from racing pigeons to swimming and soccer to rugby league and everything in between.  It is mainly black and white but there is some red and orange splattered through the pages to brighten it up.  A good addition if you are a collector of sports memorabillia.  If you would like more photos please send your email address & I will happily forward them, it is too expensive to put more in the listing.
