 Vintage quilt top was made using the string-piecing technique. Small pieces of fabric were stitched to a paper foundation to form larger pieces of fabric. The quilt blocks were cut from these larger pieces. This quilt top is made from a variety of colorful all cotton fabrics including feedsack prints. It measures approx. 70 x 88 inches and is in excellent, never used, never laundered condition with no holes, tears, or stains. It will make a great project for the quilter or it could be used to cut string-pieced patches for a quilt in another pattern such as a star.
