VINTAGE Solid Silver RMGC GOLFING SPOON Hallmarked 1934

This is a lovely RARE VINTAGE solid sterling silver tea or coffee spoon which was made in Sheffield, England in 1934 by the illustrious Sheffield Victorian silversmiths, Harrison Fisher & Company at their Trafalgar Street workshops. It is in the Old English pattern and is engraved to the handle with RMGC. The spoon is 4 3/8" long overall and the bowl measures almost 1" wide. It weighs 11.8 grams - almost 1/2 troy oz. It is NOT otherwise engraved.

It is in very good condition with just the usual surface scratching - see photograph - and, unusually, NO dints and NO dents and little dimpling to the bowl - SUPER. It is hallmarked on the reverse of the bowl with H.F&Co, crown, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark), r, King George V & Queen Mary Jubilee mark showing that it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1934. I have shown the hallmarks so that you can make up your own mind. A very rare GOLF spoon after 75 years!!! Postage will be FREE both within the UK and to international destinations.
