Note: the strand you get maybe not so green but after wear a while exposing to sun light and air it will turn green some of strand are new carved  from timber so lighter color

The green sanders wood really smell wonderful but pity I can't show it here... but I promise you will love it^^

Number '108' in Buddhism is believed as the total troubles for a person in this world, so as to relieve these troubles the Buddhist always hold these 108 beads cord strand. Counting the bead while chant symbolize dispeling all these troubles one by one. Same reason why monk toll '108' times eveytime to relieve the people they bless.
