 These two very old rare and collectable Tilley sales and instruction booklets were recently discovered having belonged to family members who purchased Tilley items during the years of World War 11. Tilley paraffin (kerosene) lamps were British made and one booklet is dated 1939 and the other 1941. The sales booklet features a most interesting collection of a variety of models of Tilley lamps and radiators all illustrated with photographs and specifications for each model.Two lamps have their costs at the time marked in ink beside them. The instruction booklet covers Operating Advice and notes on the working of the Tilley lamps and what not to do.  The name of the agency TB Nettlefold and Sons Pty Ltd of 189 King Street, Melbourne is stamped on the back of the sales brochure.These booklets are in very good condition for their age. The sales booklet has a vertical fold which enabled postage and the Instruction Book has some handling stains from usage during those earlier years before electricity was freely available.
