 DESCRIPTION:

* Lovely antique/vintage treadle sewing machine cabinet in good vintage condition. It is a stylish yet practical piece that would look lovely in any home.

* It has the original treadle sewing machine inside the cabinet which lifts out when the 2 front cabinet doors are opened. I am not a seamstress so I have never used the sewing machine so I am not sure if it works however the metal treadle moves up and down when pushed and turns the wheel on the side of the sewing machine. The needle on the machine itself does not go up and down. 

* The front cabinet doors have lovely inlaid work on them. There is also inlaid work at the back panel.

* The sewing machine was rebuilt by Ward Bros- Parramatta and it is a Gritzner Durlach with S/N 3405994. It has a spider emblem on it. It even has its own bright red pin cushion !

 * Would look perfect in a hallway, as a side table or ocassional table or could even use it as a bedside table.

* Would suit a lovely old home or someone who loves sewing items or just pretty feminine items.

* The cabinet has 2 little wheels on one side to enable you to move the cabinet around more easily.

* As the cabinet is vintage it comes with wear and scratches to the timber in places.  The cabinet is very heavy and would therefore need someone strong to collect it !

Table measures approximately       90 cm in height (3 feet)

                                                             69cm in width

                                                             47 cm in depth

 

COLLECTION:

Collection from Sydney in NSW. No postage-  it is too large.
