R & D VIOLETS ON BLUSH TRIO ENGLAND ~ Cup,Saucer,Plate

Description

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT OUR ITEM & GOOD LUCK IF YOU BID!

ITEM DETAILS:  

This lovely antique trio, consisting of a cup, saucer and bread and butter plate, was manufactured by Redfern & Drakeford potters of Chatfield Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. 

SIZE:   It is normal tea size, i.e. the gorgeous fluted cup stands 6cms tall, the saucer is 14cms in diameter, and the plate is 17.5cms in diameter.                

DECORATION:      The beautiful hand painted pattern of Violets in varying shades is set on a Peach Blush background, which graduates to white.   All edges are gently scalloped and gilded.

CONDITION:       

The saucer and plate are in excellent condition, but the cup does have a 2cm hairline from the top edge located behind the handle when facing to the right, so would be ideal as a wonderful eye catching cabinet piece.
