1 x 2006 VMOTO MONTEGO SCOOTER
Metallic Red Finish. This scooter has been used for the past 18 months to commute to the train station during the week.
Unlike some 50cc scooters the VMoto 125 engine allows you to safely keep up with other traffic.
I have had the scoot up to 90km/hr, but it comfortably rides at 60-80km/hr. This is only a 125cc engine and is not suitable for riding on the freeway for safety reasons.
For those that have not owned a bike this size before, please be aware they are a very light bike. A strong headwind can knock 10km off the top end speed. If you think you can safely ride this up the Kwinana every morning, I would suggest looking for something a little larger.
Plenty of underseat storage. Enough room for a helmet or groceries. I could fit my helmet, jacket and gloves in there!
I have been the only owner of the scoot, It has done just under 3350kms and has had regular servicing by owner.
There is some minor cosmetic damage on the scoot as can be seen on the photos. There is minor damage to the front headlight, front wheel arch, left panels. Some of the damage has been touched up but it can be noticed up close.
The scoot was purchased in 2008 with 0kms on the clock. I believe that it was a demo/display bike at the scooter shop. It has "weathered" a little from sitting outside the shop for a couple of years, but is still in good condition.
We have had no problems with it and it is a pleasure to ride. Coming into the start of summer this is the best time to buy.
If you need a helmet to get it home I have an old open face helmet you can have.
