For those who would prefer to get the installers of the free versions (Player and Server) on disc rather than search for and download them, there is also a multiplatform DVD available in this listing for this purpose. Mac OS X users note that there is no free version of VMware Fusion, but there is an evaluation copy on the programs disc. There are also evaluation copies of Workstation for Windows & Linux users, as well as some handy bonus extras.
