VOLVO 240 81-93 Accessory 3 Gauge Mounting Pod Kit MINT

Dear Enthusiast!

This auction is for a genuine Volvo 240 Series Accessory Mounting Pod Kit which is in perfect functional and cosmetic condition and would suit an enthusiast's car of the highest standard.  This hardware enables three accessory gauges (not included in this auction) to be installed in the dash recess above the centre airvents on right-hand drive (UK, Australia, etc) 240s from model years 1981-1993 inclusive.  Some late model 240s have the radio mounted in this upper position which us enthusiasts relocate to the lower area of the center console (where all 240s originally had their factory radios!) to enable the fitment of any three of a series of genuine accessory instruments in this spot, and the harware included in this auction ebables that to be done.

My auction includes the front fascia pod and the plastic mounting panel behind it, plus the required metal brackets and nuts to secure each gauge to the panel.  One such bracket is larger to accomodate, for example, an ambient temperature gauge which is a larger unit than the other accessory gauges in the series.  However, if you bid on this item, please just let me know which gauge types you plan to install on your car, and I'll be sure to provide a set of the correct size brackets for you.

Just for fun, refer to the photo of the dashboard in my 1985 240GLE which shows this type of gauge pod in-situ...among accompanying gauges! These other gauges are NOT inlcuded as part of the auction, and are merely shown to illustrate the possibilities.  Also, in case anyone was wondering, the driving computer adjacent to the gauges is the rarest of genuine Volvo accessories and no, I don't have another one. Sorry!
