YOU are bidding on a 11.5m (38ft) 1980 Volvo motorhome bus, it was converted in 2006. it has 400ltrs of fresh water with a 24v shurflo water pump for constant water supply, 150 ltr grey water, hot water system, shower and toilet, large kitchen with large slideout pantry, timber bench tops, heaps of cupboard space, full house size 4 burner gas stove and oven/griller, vitro frigo 240ltr 12/24v fridge and seat breaky bar. The lounge area has 2 lounges and the front two seats (driver and passenger, which are side by side) swivel to face back of the bus and become part of the lounge area. All lounges and seats are covered in tan/brown industrial quality micro seude as displayed in the pictures, and are in fantastic condition, the bus is registered to have 4 seatbelt passengers, but could be engineered for up to 8 if you decide to at a later date. The bathroom has a thetford cassette toilet, separate shower and large vanity with glass vanity bowl with lighted mirror behind. In the bathroom area is a space with a large desk area that can be used as an office desk, it also has a filing drawer and the desktop can lift to become an extra bed, or you can (as we have done), convert this space into two small bunks for children, but could be changed back with minimal fuss. The bedroom area at the back has a high set double sized bed, with two big drawers under the front of the bed, the cupboard space contains 7 baskets on one side and 7 on the other side, which makes for heaps of storage space for clothes, also including a couple of overhead cupboards and a hanging space. The bedroom also has a bookcase in one corner and plenty enough floorspace for moving about. the floor in the bedroom at the rear and the lounge and kitchen area all have polished hardwood timber flooring, and the bathroom has tiles on the floor. All the windows in the bus are tinted with automotive tint over factory tinted glass so windows are a little dark and give reasonable privacy through the day and all windows in the bedroom and bathrooom areas have curtains. the lounge area in wired with a 6 speaker logitec surround sound system that a laptop, mp3 or cdplayer will easily plug into. There is plenty of lighting through the bus which is mostly 24v however the lights over the sink on the range hood are 12v like the range hood. there are 8 double power points located throughout the bus in all major use areas and are all running through a safety switch. There is a split system air conditioner in the front living area of the bus.The bus is setup with an alternative power supply system, so with the flick of a switch you can run the bus on the 3000watt inverter under the bus or the 2.4kva yamaha geny (neither will run air con unit ). There is a 5m long rollout awning which comes right over the front door for those rainy days. Under the bus there is 4 different storage bin spaces all varying in size, plus a large boot space which has lights for those late night hunts in the boot. The bus is fitted with a hayman and reece towbar and has 6 very good tyres. the bus has two battery systems 1 for starting the bus and running the fridge and 1 for running the house side of things which are deep cycle batterys, both systems have separate 10amp smart chargers for when the bus is plugged into power to keep all batterys topped up. Last but not least, the bus is regestered in Queensland till feb 2010. This is a home away from home. It has that fantastic home feeling about it! Not your average layout..more of an imaginative, open plan living design, so as you don't have that closed cramped feeling! It will be sadly missed and much loved by whoever buys it. The bus can be delivered anywhere in australia at an appropriate arrangement. The bus is currently in Port headland in WA. Please only bid if you are serious to buy. NO TIME WASTERS THANKS!!
