I have owned this unit for about 5-6 months. It's in practically new condition. Never done a gig with it. It just sat on the bedroom floor. Cleaning out my closet and it just doesn't get used to justify keeping. 

I only use a couple of distortion sounds and this unit would unreal be for the guitarist who wants more that what you can get from a amp or an old out-dated pedal. VOX is state of the art technology and Tonelab SE is the greatest of VOX's fleet

Very easy to use. Unreal tones. All the US, Fender, Marshall and Vox & Brittish amp sounds. You don't just change the amp, but the cabinet sound as well.  Of course, this unit has the classic VOX 847A Wah Pedal. This Wah Pedal alone can cost around $150. Classic Hendrix sound. 

Just dial up the tone you want, then name it and press save.

ToneLab SE employs VOX’s Valve Reactor™ circuit, a proprietary design that uses a 12AX7 dual triode as a power amp tube, to recreate the sound and feel of a variety of vacuum tube guitar amps. VOX Valve Reactor circuit delivers the true sound of a tube amp

ToneLabSE features the acclaimed VOX Valve Reactor found on Valvetronix series amps and the ToneLab amp/effects modeler. The VOX Valve Reactor circuit uses a 12AX7 triode vacuum tube together with an actual low-wattage tube power amp circuit, a virtual output transformer, and a dummy speaker circuit that simulates the impedance changes of a real speaker. It also reconfigures itself so that its characteristics are the same as the amps it’s modeling (class A, class AB, negative feedback circuit, etc.) This means that all of the nuances of the original amp model including sound, feel, distortion and presence are reproduced.

Sophisticated modeling technology

ToneLabSE provides sixteen accurate and versatile amp models that use the sophisticated modeling technology proven throughout the Valvetronix series. Starting with VOX’s own AC30, the models cover a range from classic amps to built-to-order handmade amps, from vintage to modern, from clean to hi-gain. There are also eleven cabinet models that faithfully replicate the cabinet shape and the number and type of speakers. The reviews only state how they love it and it's so easy to use. Some state how it out ranks the BOSS GT-8 in tone. Personal preference of course, but a pedal doesn't get this kind of reviews, one after another because it's crap.
