This is a 3.8 complete engine in very good condition. The engine comes with our standard 4 months warranty and the quality of all our engines is assurred. Please check all the engine details below to ensure this engine is the correct replacement for your current engine. Our engines are sold on a changeover basis. We require a changeover deposit of $100. This deposit is refunded to you in full when you return your old engine to us. If you are unable to return your old engine then the changeover deposit is not refunded.

Our standard engine warranty is 4 months, unlimited kilometers unless stated otherwise.

Shipping Information

We are happy to ship to anywhere in the world. Our engines are shipped on a pallet and delivered right to your door. Alternatively you are welcome to visit our show room and pickup the engine yourself.

Our engines are shipped securely strapped to shipping pallets to prevent them from damage during transport.

All engines arrive safety at your door ready for installation.

Warranty Details When choosing to buy a quality second hand engine from APARTS you can be confident it will provide trouble free service as all our engines are thoroughly tested prior to sale To ensure the best service from your APARTS engine, and to protect your warranty, Have a Qualified Mechanical Workshop do the insulation or have APARTS arrange to have one fit it for you, When APARTS arranges the fitting, the warranty will also cover the labour cost, If the engine is installed by anyone other than a qualified, registered mechanical workshop, APARTS must verify that installation was done correctly before the warranty can apply. This may mean an inspection is required. The following precautions must be taken when installing an APARTS engine. 1. Replace engine oil and filter. 2. If a oil cooler is fitted if must be flushed clean or replaced. 3. Pay special attention to the cooling system. 4. Check all hoses and replace them if they are old or faulty. 5. Check the condition of the inside and out. If it is not in perfect condition have it serviced by a qualified radiator repair shop. 6. Check the fan belt, timing belt, radiator cap, water pump and the thermostat and replace if the condition is less than perfect. This will save you form incurring greater expense later. 7. Fit a clean air filter. Ensure all air cleaner connections are sealed and air/fuel mixture is correct. 8. Ensure that a water temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge or warning lights are fitted and functioning correctly. All engines are sold on change over basis. A change over core deposit is to be paid at the time of purchase. The deposit will be refunded in full when the change over core is returned to APARTS. Often engines are supplied with some accessories, this is done for convenience. These accessories are not covered under the warranty as they are supplied at no extra charge. You are charged for the block and head assemblies only. The engine is fitted with an over heating detection device. This Heat Tab is used by the auto recycling industry worldwide to detect whether or not the operator has continued to use the engine without adequate cooling. Regardless of the reason for the cooling system failure the APARTS warranty does not cover any engine that has been destroyed because it has had prolonged use after coolant loss. If you heed the warnings and stop immediately, the Heat Tab will remain intact. Your cooling system can then be repaired, and your investment in your engine protected. If this devise is removed or tampered with in any way the warranty will not apply, If it becomes dislodged accidentally arrange to have another fitted by APARTS as soon as possible so that your warranty can be reinstated. Although APARTS warranties all the parts you buy, it will not be held responsible for any consequential damage, unauthorized repairs, labour cost, cost of transportation, or any other loss or injury that may arise from the use of any parts sold.
