VT Commodore Receiver Drier.

This is a Receiver Drier

that is fitted to VT Commodore 6 and 8 cylinder vehicle applications.

It has an inlet and outlet hose fitting size of 5/16" Male internal O-ring which in air conditiong terms is a number 5 fitting. It is 60mm in diameter and 200mm in hight. The dessicant which is the dring agent inside the receiver is XH7.

It is vitally important that when you De-gas and open an air conditiong system to atmosphere that a new Receiver drier be fitted prior to re-charging your system . If you don't you will risk major damage to very expensive componants such as your compressor. It would be like changing you engine oil and not replacing your oil filter?????.

There are about 300 different receiver driers used on vehicles in Australia. The Car Air Depot has all of them available so if you have a specific request for one let me know and I will list it for you.
