VTG Serape Sweater Vest Indian/Mexican llama/alpaca NOS

What a super odd vintage find. This is made by Sears JR Bazaar. It is sort of a sweater, blanket vest, poncho thingy-ma-bob. ** AhHa this just in to the Jeneral Store newsdesk... I am told this is actually a Serape (mexican blanket style sweater vest) ** It's made from a soft material, it's like a long vest that ties on both sides. It's totally open on the sides unless you tie it. Two ties on each side. Made with 100% Acrilan Acrylic whatever that is. The Tag says Weardated with fibers by Monsanto. I would say this is from around the 70's. The pattern has Alpaca's or Llama's on it, and it's done in vibrant multi red/yellow/blue/black colors. Size is Large and measures:
