With this design a vehicle can be left on the trolleys indefinately because the smoothly curved bottom eliminates flat spots in the tyres and by getting the tyre up off the ground moisture damage is greatly reduced, making these ideal for long term storage.
Wheel dollies have a distinct advantage over wheel jacks because they have no hydraulic mechanism to the side and therefore the vehicle can be pushed closer to a wall or another vehicle.
