The Battery Grip holds up to two EN-EL3e battery packs to offer double-length shooting time. The vertical shutter release makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting horizontally, and keeping the important ability to stabilize the camera during critical shoot . It retains the tripod mounting thread as well. The Infrared Wireless Remote makes taking group and long exposures shooting easier and away from the camera.
