Found this very old item in a shed cleanup. I think its called a Splade but i know nothing about it . It is well worn and the colour of the metal coming through makes me think it is copper or brass or bronze. i dont know. At the top is a badge that says  SURFERS PARADISE HOTEL.  SOUTHPORT  QLD. And a picture of an old hotel. Hope this helps.
