Up for auction is once in a lifetime piece of decorative furniture of this kind..It stands just over 1metre tall and approximately 70cm in diametre and 70cm in depth..Its does sit on castor wheels so the unit can be wheeled around and wheels can be easily removed if one wishes to..This globe is a stunning piece work of art, the globe itself opens just past a 90 degree angle to reveal the hidden bar inside.Beautifully decorated with olde world features..It truly is a collectors item and it can be beautifully displayed in a study library lounge, it will be the centrepiece of any conversation.This globe and I emphasize this globe is not to be used as a map reference....

I have included as many photos as I can for your viewing to make a decision on this beautifully designed piece of furniture...Now I did recently purchase this item from ebay however the measurements supplied were incorrect and as much as I love this item it does not fit into the desired spot therefor it is up for auction again..A little history of this item is that it was purchased a long time ago from an antique shop well above 400.00 from an elderly lady..I have done extensive research have contacted antique dealers auction rooms etc etc to get some information on this globe...Some have suggested it was made in the 1920's 1930's others say 1950's 1960's probably one of the first globe bars designed..Most if not all have indicated it was made in Italy..I cannot find a makers name on the globe for a lot of language is not english..If anyone recognizes what they see and can help me out please do not hesitate to email me, I'd really love to know...

I do not wish to mislead anyone with the information I have supplied therefore viewing of this item can be arranged by appointment before bidding...It truly is a rare item I have not found or seing another one like it, it does require a little tender loving care to bring it to its former GLORY...!!!!!!!
