Victorian Art Nouveau Silver Gold Watch Fob 1896 N/R

This one is a stunning Victorian vintage sterling silver and rose gold pocket watch fob which is incredibly beautiful being an Art Nouveau design. It is a pleasing shape making it that little bit special. It bears a rose gold raised shield cartouche with unidentified initials….and hand engraved ivy leaves. To the reverse we can read: Won for Best Leek LAMESLEY 1897.
Great as a pocket watch fob or pendant. If you deserve the best do not miss this one!!!!!!
Weighs in at an impressive 15.7 grams approx.
Measurements: over 1 ½ inch high by over 1 inch wide approx.
Condition: In good condition with a pleasant tactile solidity that has only been enhanced by its rich velvety patina, alongside the touch of age that just can’t help but add a little personality and character.
Defects: none apart from a few light scratches here and there and needs a clean.
Bears a full British hallmark for sterling silver, from the assay office of the city of Birmingham, for the year 1986 - thus guaranteeing its exact pedigree and age. Maker is also present.
