For sale is a very nice "faux" tortoiseshell Victorian calling card case that is 10.5cms X 7.9cms, inlaid with mother of pearl, metal stringing either side that could be silver, and has a little metal plaque on the end with the name W. HADDON lightly scratched into it. The case is generally in good condition, although it does have a few faults, these being, little splits either side of the hinge, making the lid wobble slighty, but is still secure, tiny pieces of inlay missing, and has the odd mark here and there. But I believe these little problems are very repairable, and in the right hands could be a thing of beauty once again.
