Antique Victorian Inlaid Flamed Mahogany Wardrobe & Dresser set ca 1850-1880

Victorian Inlaid Flamed Mahogany Triple Wardrobe with decorative shell inlays.

This Victorian inlaid flamed mahogany triple wardrobe / armoire has a moulded cornice. Central cupboard doors with moulded edges and flamed mahogany panel with decorative shell inlays. The cabinets have very nice dark blue original fabric liners.

The centre piece has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with original brass handles and flamed mahogany central panels with shell inlays. The two outer doors have original bevelled mirrors with moulded panels, original handles, keys and working locks. The two outer cabinets each have one removable shelf with hanging rail and hooks.

All edges are beautifully banded with satinwood and boxwood and ebony string inlay.

The Wardrobe can be dismantled into five sections for ease of removals.

Victorian Inlaid Flamed Mahogany Dresser with decorative shell inlays.

This beautiful Victorian mahogany inlaid dressing table has an oval bevelled mirror supported by tapering upright supports. The upper section has two drawers. The lower section has two oak lined drawers with original brass handles and decorative shell inlays.

The dresser stands on four beautifully shaped bracket feet (come with original coasters) and all the edges are banded with boxwood and ebony inlay.

Both pieces are in very good overall conditions and well kept in its original state (no restoration done); there are some scuff marks.
