Vintage Italian Enamel Lovers
Theme Case with
Zippo Lighter Insert
Measures 2-inches by 1-1/2 inches.
Engraved flower scroll motif. Gold wash
over silver.
Not marked that I can find, however will
guarantee a minimum of 800 silver.
There is a number 33 on the inside edge
of the case.
Case has enameled lovers scene in a wooded
setting, the lady is laying across the man's lap.
There are logs, a pitcher, a basket of flowers
and a sac with spilled contents on the ground.
The man is pointing to the left.
Blue enamel on the lid.
ISSUES:
One spot of enamel loss on cover, measures
5mm in diameter, and is located in the upper right corner of the lid. Part
of this enamel loss is down to the metal, approx. 2mm in size.
The balance of the chip is to the top layer
of blue.

READ ON....
There is a hairline crack running from the
top right corner of the image of the couple and it extends just to the
back of the head of the man. This hairline is defined between the two red
x's in image below.
Zippo insert marked: Zippo Mfg. Co. Bradford,
PA
Made in USA ZIPPO
pat 2517191 and a registered trademark symbol.
For best results use Zippo flint and fluid.
There is surface wear and scratching to the
zippo from insertion/removal from the case.
There is mild wear to the vermeil finish
of the case.
The flint will need to be replaced.
