This is a 14 K  White Gold Elgin watch.  It is marked on the back: 14 K GOLD ELGIN.  (It is GOLD, not filled).   Inside the back of the watch is marked  CASED AND TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO.  LATIN 5875.  The band is white gold color gold filled.  It has several links that can be removed.  I have a 6" wrist and it is to large.  The watch runs well.  It has a clean face.  The watch is 17 Jewel Swiss  Elgin 313.  There is 2 safety features.  It has the chain and also a extra latch inside the outer latch.  Beautiful watch, probably from the 1950-1960's.  It has been well taken care of. This case is 14 K GOLD.   I have more watches, thanks for looking.
